Desk Surfer

Desksurfer was a device I developed that used HP's Optical Mouse chip. The idea was to use the device as a window into a virtual workspace. I built a prototype and I wrote software that allowed it to control a web browser. I also invented a way to make it work like a magnifying lens, so it would give a fisheye view into the virtual workspace to make navigation easier.
