ABSTRACT
This is a psychometric optical device I designed and built in 1998. I published
a paper that used this device, but here are the complete details.
Optical pattern contrast reduction
This device mixes a sharp image of a pattern with a highly blurred version
of itself. This reduces the pattern's contrast. This can be used to estimate
pattern strength by the method of adjustments.
