Mirage on the Beach / Mirage

This was the highlight of the day on the beach for me. On the horizon I saw a super rare superior mirage! This only happens when a sheet of very cold air sits under a sheet of very hot air, and the air is very still. In this case, it was a hot day and the ocean was very cold. It lasted for an hour or so. Nobody else on the beach seemed to notice or care that the horizon was turning into taffy.
